Job Description:

We are working with a financial services firm seeking a Digital Web Production & SEO Manager to join its Global Digital team based in NYC (CONTRACT-TO-HIRE)!

The team is looking for a T-shaped digital marketer with skills across CMS systems, website production and website engagement optimization through EO as well as collaboration with developers, designers and content writers.

We are looking for someone dedicated to providing the best website experience for clients through understanding business goals, implementing solutions, and proactively suggesting improvements across their 26 country websites.

This position requires creative problem-solving abilities, top time management and prioritization skills, an eye for design and an understanding for content, and the ability to contribute as a member on a team of marketing professionals.

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in web production and product management including hands-on experience with CMS systems, identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends in complex website structures, HTML/CSS expertise, SEO skills to optimize organic traffic, Google Analytics knowledge to analyze website engagement and trends. The candidate will work with global teams, therefore time and stakeholder management, communication skills, responsiveness are must-haves.

Responsibilities:
  • Work very closely with Lead Global Website Manager to build and deliver on a vision for web content production and optimization
  • Build holistic view of all websites and engagement trends
  • Manage global requests, produce web pages to corporate standards
  • Update and review content as well as development work in a QA environment
  • Create and test marketing campaign elements to corporate standards, troubleshoot errors and suggest best practices for web assets
  • Find opportunities for product and content improvements across our web properties
  • Work closely with IT web developers on new design and functionality enhancements on web
  • Build SEO strategy and tactics to improve organic search traffic
  • Have strong communication skills to deliver website recommendations
  • Own website benchmarks, standardization, and documentation
  • Engage with client facing teams to explain our recommendations
  • Assist global teams with ad-hoc and recurring web requests to support their marketing

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, analytics, or quantitative field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web production / management
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with enterprise level web content management systems (Tridion experience a plus)
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid hand-on knowledge of HTML/CSS and UX/UI principles
  • SEO, SEM, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics knowledge
  • Experience with Agile development principles and Jira software
  • Experience with project management tools (Workfront experience a plus)
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • SEM experience is a plus
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Asset Management industry is a plus
